The case for opening
- The experience. Opening is the fun part — the reveal, the chase, the chance at a card you want for your collection.
- Singles you choose. If there's a specific card you're after, opening packs is a lottery; buying the single is deterministic. Know which one you're doing.
The case for holding sealed
- Condition stays pristine. Sealed product can't be damaged the way a loose card can.
- Optionality. A sealed pack can always be opened later; an opened pack can never be resealed.

Opening packs digitally is a way to get the reveal experience against the real pack odds without committing a physical pack to being opened.
